Baby Boy

Hello my dear friends! Today I'm sharing my Baby Boy card I made using Baby Edwin from Magnolia's new collection, Princes & Princesses. This cute little guy and some other gorgeous stamps arrived in my mailbox a couple of days ago directly from Magnolia, Sweden. Thank you so much for such an amazing gift... I love it!

I cut the base shape for my card with my Cricut Expressions, Elegant Edges cartridge. I just bought this cartridge and I'm in love it! It has lots of great shapes and borders.

The pattern papers are Teresa Collins, Every Day Moments collection (I inked around the edges with Charcoal fluid chalk inkpad).

For my cute little tag and banner I used Magnolia's Heart & Flag Doohickey dies. The "BOY" stamp is from My Mind's Eye.

The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  My little guy was colored with Copic markers and the background is a mix of Copic shadows, Broken China Distress Ink and Glimmer Mist.

Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Jumpsuit and shoes: B99, B97, B95 and B91. Crown amd stars: Y26, Y23, Y21 and Y000. Shadows: W5, W3 and W1.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Happy Easter Easel Card

Edited to add: My Easter card was awarded Winner at Magnolia Down Under Challenge.

Hello there! I can't believe it's been two weeks since our last challenge over at IAMC. This time, I have an Easter easel card to share with you. This is a very special card to me because it is the first time I've used Distress inks to paint my images with. I have to confess that I spent A LOT of hours figuring out how to do this. Although I have a long way to go, I was quite happy with the result.

I created a scene with my Tilda with Hawaiian flower and Floral background Magnolia stamps. The butterflies are digital stamps from Hero Arts.

The gorgeous papers are Webster's pages. I stitched around the edges and distressed them for a vintage look.

I used Martha Stewart's pop out butterflies edge punch to create the edge around my card. The sentiment was stamped on Magnolia's Dream Tag cutting die.

I decorated the flowers and butterflies in my image with yellow and pink Stickles.

The beautiful flowers and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pretty feather was actually recycled from a Halloween mask.

I'm entering the following challenges:

TOMIC: Feathers and Flowers + Sketch
MDUC: Old Treasures (recycled feather)
Just Magnolia: Green
Totally Tilda: Easter
Simply Magnolia: Anything Goes

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Birthday Jewelry Box

Good morning! We have a new challenge over at IAMC. We would love to see your card/project using 2 colors but one of them has to be white (white +1color). I went with white + purple for my jewelry box and used my gorgeous "Tilda with love laced shoes" from Sweet Crazy Love collection.

I wanted a girly look for my box so I used these beautiful papers from My Mind's Eye, white lace, purple pearls trim, organza roses ribbon from Maya Road (dyed with Dusty Concord Distress Ink) and flowers, of course, from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The legs for my jewelry box are from Tim Holtz idea-ology collection ( I had them for a while and glad I finally got to use them).

I've stitched the edges of my pattern papers and finished them with white Distress crackle paint. To add some texture to my design, I layered a piece of corrugated cardboard that I've also painted with Distress crackle paint.

Miss Tilda was colored with my Copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Blouse: V17, V15, V12 and V000. Shoes: E59, E57, E53 and E50. Pants: C5, C3 and C1. Shadows: W7, W5, W3 and W1.

I would like to enter these challenges:

TOMIC: Tilda's Birthday and Sketch
Just Magnolia: Anything Goes (optional stitching)
Totally Tilda: Tilda with Die cuts and Punches
Simon Says Stamps: Anything Goes
