Edited to add: My Easter card was awarded Winner at Magnolia Down Under Challenge.
Hello there! I can't believe it's been two weeks since our last challenge over at IAMC. This time, I have an Easter easel card to share with you. This is a very special card to me because it is the first time I've used Distress inks to paint my images with. I have to confess that I spent A LOT of hours figuring out how to do this. Although I have a long way to go, I was quite happy with the result.
I created a scene with my Tilda with Hawaiian flower and Floral background Magnolia stamps. The butterflies are digital stamps from Hero Arts.
The gorgeous papers are Webster's pages. I stitched around the edges and distressed them for a vintage look.
I used Martha Stewart's pop out butterflies edge punch to create the edge around my card. The sentiment was stamped on Magnolia's Dream Tag cutting die.
I decorated the flowers and butterflies in my image with yellow and pink Stickles.
The beautiful flowers and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pretty feather was actually recycled from a Halloween mask.
I'm entering the following challenges:
TOMIC: Feathers and Flowers + Sketch
MDUC: Old Treasures (recycled feather)
Just Magnolia: Green
Totally Tilda: Easter
Simply Magnolia: Anything Goes
Thanks for visiting!
Hugs,
Paola
