Hello friends! It has been quite a while since I colored one of these gorgeous Teddy Bo images. I had lots of fun coloring Birthday Bo for this card I'm sharing today. I wanted to use bright and bold colors to celebrate Jacob's first birthday.

"Tiny Dancer" - Happy Birthday Ballerina card

Edited to add: My Ballerina card won Top 3 at Totally Tilda and Deep Ocean challenges.

Good morning! I hope you're all having a lovely week. Today, I'm sharing a card I made using my beautiful "Tilda with Ballet Shoes". She has been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks now, but last night I just had to ink her up. I think this is my favorite stamp from the new Prices & Princesses collection. I love her little tutu dress, her ballerina shoes, her hair... she is just too sweet!

♥♥♥

I also got to use my new Spellbinders Die cut: Floral Ovals. Gorgeous isn't it? The flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pattern papers are My mind's Eye. I only used one base layer to enhance the beautiful 4" wide lace I placed across the card.

 ♥♥♥

I made my own decorative pin with pearls and a decorative base from my local craft store. My beautiful tag was cut with Magnolia's Heart Doohickey die. I decorated it with some ribbon, lace, a tiny rose and this cute little ballerina charm.

♥♥♥

Miss Tilda was colored with Copic markers: Skin: E13, E11, E00 and E000. Pink: R35, R32, R00 and R000. White: C5, C3 and C1. Shadows: W5, W3 and W1.

I also added a couple of little pearls for Tilda's earrings and some Crystal Dust for some sparkle on Tilda's ballet shoes and tutu!

Spring Is Here...

Edited to Add: My Spring card won Top 3 at Paper Sundaes Challenge!

Hello my blogging friends! Time for another challenge over at IAMC. The theme is Spring. I love Spring! the weather is perfect, the gardens are so beautiful, little creatures flying everywhere... and to celebrate the season, I made this butterfly shaped card using my Party Tilda from the Princes & Princesses collection.

I cut the base for my card with my Cricut Expressions (Elegant Edges cartridge). Using Design Studio Software, I welded two butterfly shapes from the top wings and cut them on white cardstock.

The pattern papers are My Mind's eye. I brushed some white crackle paint around the edges of the butterfly and around my image.

The tag was created with Magnolia doohickey die: "Bloomy Tag". I decorated it with this gorgeous Vintage Seam Ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts and a little butterfly charm.

The beautiful flowers are also from Wild Orchid Crafts and I applied 2 layers of Pearl Glimmer mist for a "shimmery" look. The butterfly digital stamps are  Hero Arts.

Miss Party Tilda was colored with Copic markers. Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000. Hair: E59, E57, E33 and E50. Dress: BG18, BG15, BG11 and BG000. Crown: Y26, Y23, Y21 and Y000. Shoes: E37, E35, E31 and E50. Shadows: W5, W3 and W1.

Easter Greetings - Altered Flower Container

Edited to add: My Altered Flower Container won Top 5 at MDUC.

Hello friends, back with a fun project for my DT over at It's a Magnolia Challenge. This week we want to see an Easter creation using green and orange. I altered a flower container to create an Easter scene using Tilda with hellebores and my floral background stamp. I thought this little girl looked so cute with those rain boots, perfect to go gardening in Spring.

I used watercolors (Distress Re-inkers) for the background and Copic markers to color my Tilda. This is the first time I used the two techniques together and I love it! I also applied Orange Stickles to both, Tilda's flowers and the flowers in my background.

To create the "rubbery" effect of rain boots I applied to coats of Glossy Accents to the boots. I just love the way they look! (Unfortunately, it's hard to see it in the pictures).

For the grass I used Magnolia Grass DooHickey's cutting die around the container and inside. The small flowers inside the scene are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the silk orange flower on top is from Recollections.

Both, Mr. Easter Bunny and the tag are free digi images I found online. I decorated the Easter tag with some ribbon, lace, twine and a cute little charm (nest with eggs) I found at my local craft store.

To color Miss Tilda I used: Skin, E13, E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E59, E57, E33, E31. Rain boots, flowers and hair bow, YR18, YR15, YR12 and YR00. Dress, W5, W3 and W1. To color the background I used, grass: Peeled green. Sky: Tumbled Glass. Sun: Antique Linen. Clouds: Weathered Wood and butterfly: Mustard Seed.

Happy Easter Easel Card

Edited to add: My Easter card was awarded Winner at Magnolia Down Under Challenge.

Hello there! I can't believe it's been two weeks since our last challenge over at IAMC. This time, I have an Easter easel card to share with you. This is a very special card to me because it is the first time I've used Distress inks to paint my images with. I have to confess that I spent A LOT of hours figuring out how to do this. Although I have a long way to go, I was quite happy with the result.

I created a scene with my Tilda with Hawaiian flower and Floral background Magnolia stamps. The butterflies are digital stamps from Hero Arts.

The gorgeous papers are Webster's pages. I stitched around the edges and distressed them for a vintage look.

I used Martha Stewart's pop out butterflies edge punch to create the edge around my card. The sentiment was stamped on Magnolia's Dream Tag cutting die.

I decorated the flowers and butterflies in my image with yellow and pink Stickles.

The beautiful flowers and ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pretty feather was actually recycled from a Halloween mask.

I'm entering the following challenges:

TOMIC: Feathers and Flowers + Sketch
MDUC: Old Treasures (recycled feather)
Just Magnolia: Green
Totally Tilda: Easter
Simply Magnolia: Anything Goes
