Happy Birthday Jewelry Box

Good morning! We have a new challenge over at IAMC. We would love to see your card/project using 2 colors but one of them has to be white (white +1color). I went with white + purple for my jewelry box and used my gorgeous "Tilda with love laced shoes" from Sweet Crazy Love collection.

I wanted a girly look for my box so I used these beautiful papers from My Mind's Eye, white lace, purple pearls trim, organza roses ribbon from Maya Road (dyed with Dusty Concord Distress Ink) and flowers, of course, from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The legs for my jewelry box are from Tim Holtz idea-ology collection ( I had them for a while and glad I finally got to use them).

I've stitched the edges of my pattern papers and finished them with white Distress crackle paint. To add some texture to my design, I layered a piece of corrugated cardboard that I've also painted with Distress crackle paint.

 

 

Miss Tilda was colored with my Copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Blouse: V17, V15, V12 and V000. Shoes: E59, E57, E53 and E50. Pants: C5, C3 and C1. Shadows: W7, W5, W3 and W1.

"For You" Decorated Box

Edited to add: My Decorated Box won Top 5 for March 2012 at TOMIC.

Hello my dear friends. Time to play over at It's a Magnolia Challenge one more time. The challenge is to decorate a package (box, tin, bottle, etc).  I have decorated a perfume box using a very special Tilda that my blogging friend Irene sent me for winning her Birthday Candy, thanks Irene :)

I covered the four sides of the box with this gorgeous paper from My Mind's Eye. Inspired by the pattern paper,  I decorated the box with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The tag was made using Magnolia's Heart Doohickey die and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

 

 

I colored Miss Tilda with Copic markers: Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Dress: C5, C3 and C1. Pinks: R22, R21, R20 and R00. Green: YG95, YG93 and YG91.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Edited to add: My Valentines card made Top 3 at iCopic Challenge

Wishing all of you a Valentine's Day filled with tons of love! This is a quick post to share with you a card I made for my son. This year, we played Family Secret Valentine and I got my little guy...Yeah!
(I also made a card for my hubby but I haven't taken pictures yet).

For this special card I used my "Beary Big Hugs" stamp from Belles'n Whistles and my "Loving" border stamp from Magnolia. I made the tag with a sentiment I found at my local crafts store.

 The paper is from My Mind's Eye and the beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Recollections.

It's a Magnolia Challenge DT - Love You Card

Hello everybody! Time for a new challenge at IAMC and our theme today is Valentines. I made this Valentine's card using my favorite stamp from the new Sweet Crazy Love collection: "Tilda Sending Love Letter", isn't she gorgeous? I just love her curly hair.

I've used My Mind's Eye papers and this time I decorated the edges with Xmas Red and Cinnamon  Stickles.

I made my tag using Magnolia's Heart Doohickey die and decorated it with white lace, red twine and a heart metal charm from Recollections. I stamped the letters for my sentiment: LOVE YOU using an old  set of stamps from Making Memories.

The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Recollections. I sprayed them with Pearl Glimmer Mist but unfortunately it does not show in the pictures.

My cute little Tilda was colored with Copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Dress and flower: R39, R29, R27, R24 and R22. Grays: C5, C3 and C1. Shadows: W5, W3 and W1.

Tilda's Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back home from an awesome vacation in Colombia. I spent the last three weeks enjoying my family, eating all of my favorite food y visiting beautiful places. Now, the suitcases are finally unpacked... house is clean... and I'm ready to share a birthday card I made for my cousin Lulu. This time I used "Tilda With Peony". This is the very first Magnolia stamp I bought and one of my favorites.

I used Bo Bunny papers, blue lace and pearl's trim. The tag was cut with my Cricut Expressions using the Tags, Bags Boxes & More cartridge. The sentiment on the tag was heat embossed using Color Box archival ink and A La Mode black embossing powder.

The beautiful flowers are from Prima Marketing and Wild Orchid Crafts. I added Crystal flakes for some sparkle.

As usual, Ms. Tilda was colored with my Copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Dress and socks: BG18, BG15, BG11 and BG0000. Shoes: C5, C3 and C1. Flower: R22, R20 and R00.
